What are sensor and automation connectors used for?
Sensor connectors utilise technology enabling them to integrate into industrial automation processes seamlessly. These connectors are used to join corresponding cables and components with equipment as part of the industrial automation process. Each separate component is then joined together as a single automated unit.
These connectors are compact in design and ensure system wiring is both economical and rational. With a range of compatible connectors, sockets and accessories available, our varied sensor connector types and automation cables can be flexibly configured.
They are suitable for a wide range of specifications in the field of automation technology. Circular M5, M8, M12, M23 and 7/8” sensor connectors of protection class IP67 are available in shielded and unshielded versions.
How do sensor connectors work?
Sensor connectors and cables are widely used alongside switches, sensors and transducers. Their versatility means they can be utilised in a variety of applications ranging from industrial automation systems to vehicles and automotive applications.
Due to this versatility, sensor connectors are suited to a wide variety of applications and diverse environments.
