Connector benefits
Weatherproofing
The vast majority of our connectors provide IP54 ingress protection or above, ensuring that the very large range of products is durable enough for almost any conditions. While this doesn’t make them completely waterproof technically, they are water-resistant enough for most applications.
If you need to protect against submersion or high-pressure hoses, look for IP65, IP66, or IP67 rated connectors.
High temperatures
Transportation connectors need to be able to withstand very high temperatures, anywhere from 125°C upwards.
While most automotive connectors will be capable of handling high temperatures easily, be sure to check product specifications before ordering.
Vibration protection
With secure mechanical locking mechanisms built in, stop accidental disconnections while under heavy mechanical stress.
