binder launches new feed-through adapters for control cabinets

As such, we are pleased to announce that binder has introduced a new range of panel feedthrough adapters for control cabinets, designed to complement the brand’s existing connector series and deliver additional flexibility when developing and installing control cabinets on your premises.
The new M12-A, M12-S, M12-K, M12-T and M12-L adapters are compatible with a wide range of binder’s existing M12 and M12-Power connectors, and will offer the same build quality and high performance for which the binder brand is known.
What are feed-through adapters?
Feedthrough or feed-through adapters are an essential addition to any electronic set-up that requires multiple cables to be passed through and connected to a fixed control panel or cabinet. Essentially, these adapters act as a fixed point that allows cable connectors to be attached on both sides, passing the signal through with no interference or loss of quality.
Feedthrough adapters are designed to enable the connection of signal, data and supply cables, attaching easily but firmly to a control cabinet panel and allowing various connections to be organised and managed neatly. These adapters can also be useful when a signal needs to be passed through a shielded wall, or other situations in which passing a wire through a hole would not be an appropriate option.
binder’s new feed-through adapters: the basics
The M12-A, M12-S, M12-K, M12-T and M12-L panel feed-through adapters from binder are designed to be fully compatible with the 713 series of binder M12 connectors, as well as the 814, 824, 813 and 823 series of binder M12-Power connectors.
These adapters have an M16 x 1.5 panel fixing thread and are optimised for flexible installation. They are able to operate comfortably in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, making them suitable even for harsh environments.
