A renowned manufacturer known for quality, innovation and technical development, offering circular connectors, cable glands and cable protection
HUMMEL have developed the VariaPro Temp range for use in environments where the temperatures are either extremely hot or extremely cold. These glands have been planned and designed in a way so they can withstand these extreme temperatures and still work efficiently and effectively for whichever process is being carried out. These glands are to be used in cold environments such as in the Arctic or in extreme temperatures like industrial forges or furnaces.
This gland has very different advantages to the rest of this range. This gland is made up of Nickel-Plated Brass. This material essentially hardens the surface of the gland which makes it tougher to break down. This enables the gland to be able to withstand freezing or boiling temperatures without cracking or showing any sign of damage.
The O-ring and clamping material is VMQ Silicone. This material has a long service life and is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. This durable gland boasts an impressive temperature range of -60°C to 200°C.
