D-sub is highly suited to configure communication and data interfaces. It is also considered the standard for numerous fieldbus profiles.

Subminiature D connectors are the standard interfaces for data, signal and service/programmer interfaces in the automation industry. Available in optional metal and plastic housings with IP20 and IP65 / IP67 protection, the connectors in the HARTING D-SUB catalogue enable the setup of all Subminiature D interfaces popular within this industry, including fieldbuses.
