The d-subminiature (d-sub) connector has played an essential role in electronic applications for decades. Introduced in the 1950’s, this distinctive connector features a rectangular flange and d-shaped face, ensuring correct orientation is always achieved.
These connectors are deliverable in five standardised housing sizes with standard pin counts of 9 to 50 and high-density options of 15 to 78.

CONEC D-subminiature (d-sub) connector dimensions conform to IEC 60807-2 (formerly DIN 41652) or MIL-C-24308. Additionally, the product line is UL (E202784), CSA (LR 115000-1) and VDE (40000440) approved.
These connectors are deliverable in five standardised housing sizes with pin counts of 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 in the standard format and 15, 26, 44, 62 and 78 way options in a high density config.
CONEC d-subs boast a trapezoidal-shaped shell that performs a number of essential functions, including electrical shielding, mechanical protection and polarisation.
Notably, these types of connector conform with, and are interchangeable with, all other conforming d-sub connectors on the market.
